Our Growing Garden
April 2011
Many of you regular Rusthuiz visitors will agree that we take our garden seriously! We love spending the time and effort to create and ensure a lush environment for everyone to enjoy, especially the great variety of birds that too call Rusthuiz home. We have recently upgraded the paving and put some finishing touches all around the garden, like our beautiful Victorian mirror at the swimming pool. It is truly a haven for any bookworm, so get down here and experience it for yourself!

New Upholstered Carpets throughout
February 2011
"Out with the old and in with the new"
This saying recently played out when we pulled out our old carpets and replaced them with luxurious, hypo-allergenic new ones. What a difference it makes! Is was a great mess, but luckily the Carpet guys were really up to speed on what we wanted and finished the entire guest house in record time. Now your feet drop into the thick carpet and the tantalising feeling of pure luxury sprints through your body. We just love keeping the guest house updated and feeling fresh.
Stellenbosch back in Business
January 2011
Stellenbosch was blessed with so many visitors over the Season, but now that the schools have started and the University is having their annual RAG - Stellenbosch is back to its old bustling self again! It is green wherever you look and the Oak Trees are still in full bloom almost as if welcoming back those who have gone for the holidays. The air is filled with the promise of a good year and laughter deriving from the street cafes around a bottle of wine.
Rusthuiz adds swanky new paving
December 2010
What a sight!? For those of you regular Rusthuiz visitors, you would not recognize our new parking area. We had the guys from Crete Paving over to upgrade the space with the new Exposed Aggregate finish. It was a mess for sure, but all the noise and dust paid of and now even your car will stay in luxury during your visit to Rusthuiz!
